Adult Education:

Due to weather concerns, we have had to change the schedule for our discussions.  We have pushed back our January meeting to February 5th.  We wil  revise our schedule of readings then.

Beit Haverim offers courses throughout the year to inform and inspire.  Please be sure to check our newsletters and bulletins to confirm what topics are being addressed and when those classes happen. Classes, unless otherwise specified, are held at Beit Haverim.

In addition, we hold a monthly Book Discussion Group.  Everyone is welcome to attend the group, and there is no charge. Most, but not all, books that we read have a strong Jewish connection.

The next book group will meet on February 5th at 2:30 pm in the Fireplace room.   We will discuss The Door by Magda Szabo.

Future books and dates are as follows:

February 5    Readers of Broken Wheel Recommend by Katarina Bivald

March 5         Once We Were Brothers by Ronald Balsam

April 2            Treyf by Elissa Altman

Location: Beit Haverim, 1111 Country Club Rd. Lake Oswego, OR 97034

Bagel Chat

Our Bagel Chats are held one Sunday per month and include a roundtable of discussion on various Jewish topics and occasionally include a guest speaker. We invite you to join us for bagels, schmear, coffee, and good conversation.

Do you have an idea for a bagel chat topic or guest speaker? Contact our Bagel Chat chairperson, Naomi Angier and let her know.
