Blood Drive: Friday, May 3 12:00pm to 5:00pm
We learn in the Talmud, whoever saves a single life is considered by scripture to have saved the whole world. In Judaism, it is a mitzvah to donate blood. All the money in the world cannot save someone’s life who needs blood. Because blood cannot be manufactured — it can only come from generous donors.

Beit Haverim, “House of Friends,” is an open, inviting, and spiritually alive Jewish community, located just outside of Portland, Oregon, in Lake Oswego. We welcome everyone to our Reform congregation… Jews by birth, Jews by choice, and Jews at heart. Families and individuals experience the sense of Jewish belonging that comes from shared worship, religious instruction, Tikkun Olam, and social events… at a location not too far from home.
