Worship Services at Beit Haverim/South Metro Jewish Congregation
Shabbat Services are led by Rabbi Annette Koch and Cantorial Soloist Ann Brown, and everyone is welcome to attend. An Oneg Shabbat follows.
We hold Shabbat Services every Friday evening. The first Friday of the month we have a special Family Shabbat and potluck. This specially written service is for families with children of all ages. Regular weekly services begin at 7:15 p.m. First Friday Family Services begin with a potluck dinner at 6 p.m., followed by services at 6:45.
The Beit Haverim/South Metro Jewish Congregation Choir, led by Judith Kleinstein, performs on special occasions throughout the year. Judith is currently accepting new choir members.

Ritual Committee
Committee Co-chairs: Joni Cady and Valerie Sebesta
The Ritual Committee's purpose is to foster an appreciation of worship, help to plan services in partnership with our Rabbi, and to provide opportunities for learning, participation, and leadership. Some of the activities of the committee are coordinating weekly Shabbat Services, Holiday Worship/Celebrations, providing for the Shabbat Oneg, Avodah, setting up the Sanctuary, and serving as Greeters.
This year the committee was responsible for finding a Hebrew name for the congregation, one that represents the richness and diversity of our congregation. They have also taken on the task of reviewing the guidelines for the Bar and Bat Mitzvah program.
It is vital that the ritual committee reflect the membership of the congregation so that our worship and activities meet the needs of all our members. Please volunteer to be part of this integral function of our congregation.
The Ritual committee meets on the first Wednesday of the month from 7:00PM until 9:00PM at the Beit Haverim/South Metro Jewish Congregation office. All members of the congregation are welcomed and invited to attend our meetings.
